RAID 6 – 3 drive critical failure..
4.5TB of data lost..
adaptec and seagate both blame each other..
now secret seagate firmware..
and we wait all over again.
at what point does one start to trust their “redundant” storage?
this will result in a post slow down – on top of the last 5 years of general data, we just lost the last 24 months of where is your god now – the torso jesus collection, a whole heap of birthday party and nick cave rare stuff, all our original video, audio and psd files and most works in progress…blah blah blah…
